 Though technically a Luftwaffe machine the F-104’s of the Luke Training Wing of the Luftwaffe flew in United States Airforce markings. All Luftwaffe F-104 pilots underwent their initial training on the type in the states unhindered by north-western Europes sometimes poor weather conditions. |
